Storms Let the Revolution begin! Every revolution began with an uprising of the common people--the serfs, the peasants, the grassroots; revolutions in the past started when the common folk realized that the political, social and religious leaders had been lying to them, and playing them as fools! Every revolution or reformation started when a Martin Luther, John Calvin, John Wesley, or an Oliver Cromwell informed the grassroots of the "raw" truth! It is simply amazing what the truth will do—Jesus said that it will set you free! The Reformer ministry through our radio broadcasts, newsletters, emails, web site, and our Christian Conservative for Reform round-tables have been boldly declaring the "raw and unadulterated" truth that our political, social and religious leaders have been lying to us. That’s right, they have been lying to us by telling us that G.W. Bush and the Republicans are conservative and support our issues! As of late the response that we have been getting has been wild! We are daily receiving phone calls, emails and messages on our phone voice mail from the grassroots Christian conservatives telling us that they are finished with the lies and hypocrisy of Bush and the Republicans and that they are switching Parties! I say "Let the Revolution begin!’ National Christian Conservative leaders are lying to us! I was in prayer at the Reformer Church and asking the Lord for a mandate for revolution in this nation as we see our moral and spiritual foundations rapidly eroding. We desire and are determined to be on the cutting edge of the revolution. After prayer I went to my office, sat down and started to read Dr. D. James Kennedy’s commentary in his newsletter! I was simply outraged! And I believe my eyes were opened as to what we have to do to get the revolution going—which is to hold our compromising religious leaders accountable and pressure them to stand on principle! In light of what G.W. Bush has done in office thus far: * Appointed numerous open homosexuals to top administrative positions * Is promoting the "gay" agenda by continuing Clinton’s pro-gay executive orders * Declared that pro-life legislation is not a priority. * Has done nothing in regards to abortion (with the exception of the Mexico City policy). * Still has not made a decision to end funding for stem cell research. * Is more interested in saving the Sequoia trees in California and the alligators and crocodiles in Florida than ending partial birth abortion * Gave us an extremely liberal education bill with a huge increase in spending. * Is pushing for Normal Trade Relation with China, despite its forced abortion policy and its increase in religious persecution. * And the list goes on and on and on! G.W. Bush is a liberal who is willing to compromise on anything for the sake of placating the liberals and bolstering his chances for re-election! Yet, Dr. D. James Kennedy said that he had just got back from Washington, DC and has two words for us—Be Encouraged! Why? Because he met with the President who, "encouraged strongly evangelical prayers"and "signed a prayer proclamation." Dr. Kennedy obviously overlooked everything Bush is doing and has given him completely blind loyalty. Many Christian Conservative organizations are nothing more than extensions of Republican Party Dr. Kennedy told us to be "encouraged" but said nothing about why this "praying-president" is continuing Bill Clinton’s pro-homosexual and pro-abortion executive orders, and has done nothing on partial birth abortion! The answer: Because now our evangelical leaders have a place at the table—and they are not going to say anything to jeopardize that place! Even if it means a massive Bush cover-up! Family Research Council buried the news of Bush’s homosexual appointment in a little column at the bottom of page four of their newsletter. In the article they said two of their staff members meant with Bush’s openly "gay" appointee, Scott Evertz, and said, "The meeting seemed polite and Evertz seemed sensitive to FRC’s concerns." My friends, that is sick!!!! Are we supposed to believe that this open homosexual is one of us because he’s on Bush’s team! Hogwash! These so-called Christian leaders are brain-dead if they think we are going to accept that absolute garbage! The fact is that these "so-called" Christian conservative leaders have an agenda to keep us thinking Bush is one of us so that they can continue to get "invites" to the White House—I, for one, ain’t falling for it! Why else would they not tell us the truth that Bush has brought the Republican Party way to the left? Patrick Henry said, "Give me liberty or give me death!" Today’s Compromising Christian leaders say, "Give me a place at the table or give me death!" Our prayer needs to be, "Give us a spiritual and moral awakening; a Revolution or give me death!" The sad fact is that our so-called Christian leaders are giving G.W. Bush and the Republican Party a free ride. They refuse to be critical of Bush and the Republicans or denounce them because they are more Republican than Christian, at least they appear that way! We need to put pressure of every Christian conservative organization that refuses to speak out against what is going on in Washington! We need to let them know that we are not stupid—we can clearly see that the Republicans are no different than the Democrats! Furthermore, let them know that if they continue to cover-up for Bush that we will expose them to the Christian community! Tell them so--- Email Dr. D. So, we are going on a campaign to monitor all of the Christian conservative groups and see if they are handling G.W. Bush’s agenda the same way they did Bill Clinton—and if not we will expose them! And then we will call, write, and email them and demand the truth and that they stop immediately "covering-up" for Bush and the Republicans! Bush, the Republicans, and religious leaders worse than Clinton! Strong words, but unfortunately they are true! The following is an example of how Bush, the Republicans, and religious leaders are worse than Bill Clinton: Representative Henry Hyde recently wrote a letter that in the first two sentences described the partial birth abortion and emphatically called it "murder." President Bush while campaigning told us that he was pro-life and that he would end this hideous practice of partial birth abortion. If Henry Hyde really thought it was murder and if G.W. Bush was really pro-life--then they would have dealt with partial birth abortion the very moment Bush took office! By them not doing so spoke volumes—and they still have not dealt with it; rather, they’ve worked overtime to push tax-cuts, the education bill, faith-based initiatives (Church welfare), and other things! In doing so they are clearly saying that these issues are more important than human life! There is no other way to interpret their actions! However, we don’t see many of these Christian organizations up in arms about it—why? William Bennett wrote a book during the Clinton scandals entitled: The Death of Outrage! Christian conservatives applauded the book because it castigated and vilified Bill Clinton and his immorality and lies—and rightly so. However, it is obvious that a person who believes a medical procedure (partial birth abortion) results in the taking of an innocent life and who can stop it but yet does not is more immoral than a liar or an adulterer! And Christian conservative groups who let the killing continue and say nothing are equally guilty! Who is worse? The person who said they would do nothing to end abortion (Bill Clinton) and didn’t or the person(s) (Bush and the Republicans) who said they would do something and didn’t? And I ask—Where is the outrage that the Christian leaders had with Clinton? It apparently died! Yet, our Christian leaders tell us—Be encouraged? HOGWASH! They need to start telling things like it is and stop worrying about a place-at-the-table! Serfs! Peasants! Grassroots Christians! RISE Up and let the Revolution begin! Grant E.
